Welcome to Calypse Agborsangaya, ACHORD post-doctoral fellow working with Dr. Jeff Johnson on diabetes and cancer and role of lifestyle.

Another ACHORD Retreat has come and gone, we were happy to welcome Professor Edwin Gale, outgoing Editor-in-Chief for Diabetologia, to our ACHORD Retreat in Banff.  Click here for the agenda.  Next year's retreat will be held on March 8 & 9, 2012.

We also were successful in obtaining a Meeting, Planning and Dissemination grant through CIHR for The International Diabetes and Cancer Research Consortium meeting to be held in Banff, March 7-9; this meeting is jointly funded by CIHR, CDA, and EASD.

Great news from CIHR, ACHORD operating grant on diabetes and cancer was renewed!
